How an EU certification scheme enhances trust in cloud services
The European Union’s Agency for Cybersecurity has offered its best practices for certification throughout the cloud supply chain
Across Europe, organizations have been crying out for a clear roadmap that enables industries, national authorities and standardization bodies to prepare in advance of cyber-attacks.
During this CS Summit: Gov and Critical Infrastructure 2022 session, Eric Vétillard, lead certification expert for the European Union (EU) Agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), outlined the benefit of a single European cloud certification and how best practices can be formulated throughout the cloud supply chain.
Vétillard also revealed how organizations were able to embark on a risk-based approach that offers flexible solutions and certification schemes that avoid becoming outdated too quickly in the fast-paced cyber-security world.
