The Evolving CISO & Top Cyber Trends Come Together At The Exchange

Folks who represent the enterprise’s first line of defense will soon be descending upon the Pullman Hotel in Redwood City, Calif. These chief information security officers (CISO) will be taking part in a flagship event filled with informative panels and speaker sessions.

IQPC’s CISO Exchange, taking place from March 11-13, brings together the most innovative and insightful technology leaders across industries. They’ll be part of in-depth discussions and exchanges on ways to flesh out and combat the emerging threat landscape – as it affects digital business in a digital economy.

The opening day will also feature a Brain Weave session on incident response, a master class on security awareness and a number of topical “Ignite Sessions.”

Day 2

The beneficial sessions continue into Day 2, which will be kicked off with a Breakfast Briefing on collaborative privacy from Jacki Monson, Vice President, Chief Privacy and Information Security Officer, Sutter Health.

Midmorning Brain Weave and master class sessions will help attendees guard against DDoS attacks and grasp the evolving threat landscape.

A Case Study from Ian Polhemus, Detective, K-9 Handler, City of Seattle, will move things along as the handler introduces attendees to new concepts in K-9 training with technology and cyber-crime components.

Later that afternoon, David Alexander, CISO, Los Angeles Department of Water and Power, will conduct a session on empowering IT/OT security, followed by a workshop on integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into the security mix.

To Conclude

On Day 3, a midmorning panel featuring Engstrom, Brian Kreitzer, CISO, UCLA Health and Harry O’Laughlin, CISO, California Department of Insurance, will tackle the evolving nature of the CISO role.

This will be followed by a session from George Finney, Chief Security Officer, SMU, on effective habits for cyber security practitioners.
