Prior to BMO, Sri was SVP and Chief Information Risk and Security Officer where he built a proactive Cyber threat detection capabilities, optimal operational model in the Cyber Intelligence and Security Operations Center to support identify, detect and mitigate Cyber security risks. Sri standardized the Information Risk framework with clear sets of policies and standards. Sri transformed organizational culture to be Cyber resilient and creating organizational readiness for effective response and recovery in case of a breach. Sri instilled confidence in the board room, across executive leadership of the company, employees, customers and regulators on the effectiveness of the Cyber Security program that provided protection of digital assets to Insurance, Retirement and Asset management businesses. Sri managed a budget of over $90 million with over 200 people. Prior to MassMutual, Sri was Vice President and Department head of Risk and Controls for Asset Management business at JP Morgan Chase where he was instrumental in institutionalizing the information risk and controls function along with leading effective sourcing and transformational initiatives for IT effectiveness. Prior to assuming this role, Sri was technology delivery executive where he was instrumental in leading the development and deployment of global market reference data repository for capturing, cleansing and distributing to JP Morgan Chase globally. Also Sri was instrumental in leading the quality improvement across the organization using lean six sigma methodology. Sri managed a budget of over $70 million with over 120 people. Prior to JP Morgan Chase, Sri was Practice Director leading the e-Business practice for southwest region where he was instrumental in building Internet distribution channels for large retailers like Wal-Mart and Radio Shack. He managed $80 million budget with over 200 people. Prior to Cambridge Technology Partners, Sri was co-founder and CIO of an Internet startup company that focused on reverse auctions in the retail industry. Sri was Vice President and delivery executive at Citigroup where he lead the development of several Internet business systems with a large team that focused on Investment and Asset management. He was instrumental in the organization achieving a capability maturity level 3 to deliver high quality software. Sri started his professional career at American Airlines as a software engineer designing and developing crew and flight scheduling systems. Sri brings broad experience in business and technology leadership along with values driven collaborative style of management. Sri has an MBA for Columbia University, Master’s in System Science from Louisiana State University and Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Osmania University.
