Jimmy Lummis is the Chief Information Security Officer at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Jimmy is responsible for all aspects of cyber security and IT risk at the Institute. Jimmy leads the Cyber Security team which consists of Cyber Security Operations, Engineering, Governance Risk & Compliance, and Services. The Cyber Security team's objectives are incident prevention, incident detection/response, as well as policy and regulatory compliance.Jimmy is a Georgia Tech alumnus with over 16 years of experience in the field of information security. His skillsets were developed by applying his talents to many different organization types including private industry, state and local government, and higher education.
