Simon is the Deputy Chief Security Officer at Australia’s largest critical infrastructure project – the National Broadband Network (nbn), where he leads a highly skilled team across a range of vital security disciplines in a converged security/ all hazards model. Simon has over 28 years of experience in leadership across complex environments and industries, specialising in cyber, physical, personnel security, risk and privacy. Prior to nbn, Simon was the Head of Security at Australia’s largest casino and integrated resort - Crown Melbourne. Before joining Crown, he was a detective with Victoria Police where he served for twelve years. Simon holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and a Masters in Cyber, Strategy and Diplomacy.
