Rob Hinson is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/E) and Global Privacy Expert at OneTrust – a global leader in enterprise privacy management and marketing compliance software. In his role, Rob advises many of the world's leading organisations on creating, implementing and managing privacy programmes to operationalise compliance with various country and region-specific regulations including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ePrivacy Regulation.

Rob has a background in technology, having previously worked as an Associate Director at Eze Software, as well as being instrumental in building out the North Asia operations for AirWatch, which was acquired by VMware in 2014 for $1.54B. The company now serves more than 20,000 global customers and is recognized as the undisputed market leader in mobility management.

Rob holds Bachelor’s Degrees in International Business and German from the University of Georgia. He resides in Hong Kong with his wife, Elissa, and two children, Warner and Emelyn. In his free time, he enjoys watching and playing sports, listening to music, and spending time with family.
