Tyler Mullican is a 15-year veteran of the security industry and is Associate CISO at AdventHealth  where he leads information security technology and operations. Mullican has been a researcher and writer on security and security architecture. He has authored several articles on a range of information security subjects and contributed to various not-for-profit security organizations including the Information Systems Security Association, Information Systems Audit and Control Association, InfraGard and the Southeast Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition.

Before Adventist Health System, Mullican held Vice President, security architect, and management positions with Fortress Information Security, FireEye Inc. and Fish-Net Security. Before that, he held security and IT positions with Community Health Systems Corp. Mullican has a Master of Business Administration and a bachelor’s degree in Information Systems Security. Additionally, he holds numerous certifications including Certified Information Security Systems Professional and those related to the administration and use of several security solutions.
