CISO and Sr. Director Lauren Heyndrickx, is the Chief Information Security Officer at J.C. Penney. Lauren joined J.C. Penney in 2016, and is responsible for the company’s Cyber Security strategy and program, ensuring proper protection of the enterprise information assets, technology and business processes. She has been in the Information Security business for over 20 years, and has an extensive background in building, implementing and successfully delivering Security Services and Solutions to both commercial and government organizations.

Prior to joining J.C. Penney, Heyndrickx served in various leadership roles, including Director of Advanced Security Services for Verizon Enterprise solutions and IT Platform Development Director at CyberTrust, a specialized, Security Services company.

Lauren holds an MBA and a Master’s degree in Computer Science, and is CISSP certified.
