James been involved in Regulatory Compliance for over 24 years, including 5 years working for the Guernsey regulator. Throughout that time, he has worked in a wide range of onshore and offshore Compliance and MLRO roles within or supporting a large number of Guernsey and UK Legal, Fund, Trust, Fiduciary, Investment Management, Banking, Independent Financial Planning, Captive Insurance, and Contracts for Difference businesses.

James moved into Crypto Compliance at the end of 2021 and currently act as Compliance Manager and MLRO for UK FCA Registered crypto exchange Coinpass.com. he is currently a Fellow with the International Compliance Association and previously a Chartered Member of the CISI, having sat for several years on their Level 4 Regulatory Exam panel.

Prior to moving into the financial sector, James spent 10 years in the British Army as a tank crewman in the Royal Tank Regiment and outside of Compliance, He is an avid Cornish Gig rower for a local Cornish veterans rowing club.
