We want to hear your views on the state of cyber security today

Beth Maundrill | 05/31/2022

By mid-2022 the majority of the world seems to have emerged from the Covid-19 pandemic with global travel returning, fewer national lockdowns and positive vaccine rollouts. The challenges brought on by the lockdowns and subsequent remote-working practices appear to be, for many organizations, on their way to being understood and overcome.

However, the cyber security world faces an ongoing set of challenges. One example is the fallout of the Ukraine-Russia conflict which is anticipated to see state-backed cyber-attacks against critical infrastructure increase.

Have your say on the major trends in cyber security today and contribute toward our 2022 flagship mid-year report by taking part in our Cyber Security Hub mid-year survey 2022 here.

The 2021 CS Hub mid-year cyber spend and CISO trends report revealed that phishing or social engineering attacks were the most dangerous threat vectors that our survey respondents were facing. Cloud infrastructure and endpoint security issues were also at the top.

To match these threats and mitigate their impact, survey respondents’ investment was highest in endpoint, cloud and email security.

In 2022, CS Hub is seeking to find out the biggest cyber security issues CISOs are facing, how investment in cyber security is being allocated by organizations and what are some of the most common types of attacks taking place today.
